The Independent Consultant to Review the Feasibility Study for MRT Line 2 Undertaken by SPAD
The Government has agreed to proceed with the MRT line 2 Project and Minconsult Sdn Bhd has been appointed by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to review and to advise the Government on the Feasibility Study (FS) undertaken by Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awam Darat (SPAD). the scope of the review encompass among others the optimal alignment, project funding and repayment of financing, estimated total cost, project scope, value management and legal implications arising from the project.
Detail Description of Actual Services Provided:
- Review and advise the Government of Malaysia on the Feasibility Study (FS) in Relation to its suitability with policy objectives strategies on public transport, socio-economy benefits as well as its feasibility and costs.
- Ensure that the Feasibility Study (FS) be functional, planned to ensure sustainability and success of the project.
